Ensuring your dog's comfort is paramount, especially when it comes to choosing the right size for their clothes and accessories. Here's a comprehensive guide to accurately measure your dog, guaranteeing a snug and comfortable fit every time.
We are going to take three body measurements, which will be used with each product's size chart to determine the best size for your friend.
To make sure we measure for comfort, use the two-finger rule. Place two fingers between the measuring tape and the body, that way it won’t be too tight or too loose.

STEP 1: BLACK LENGTH MEASUREMENT
- Start by placing the end of the measuring tape between your dog's shoulders, just below where a collar would sit comfortably.
- Gently run the tape along the centre of your dog's back, all the way to the base of the tail.
- Take this measurement twice: once while your dog is standing and once while they're sitting.
- Take the average of these two measurements to ensure accuracy and to accommodate different postures.
STEP 2: CHEST CIRCUMFERENCE
- Identify the deepest part of the chest, typically located just behind their front legs.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the chest, ensuring it sits snugly without being too tight or too loose.
- Remember the two-finger rule: place two fingers between your dog's body and the tape for a comfortable fit.
STEP 3: MEASURE NECK GIRTH
- Slide two fingers between your dog's neck and the measuring tape.
- Wrap the tape around the neck, where a collar would comfortably sit.
- Ensure the tape is snug but not constricting, allowing for comfortable movement.
